Cherry Sauce

Ingredients
  • 3 C tart cherries (can chop or pulverize some)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 t cornstarch mixed with a little water
Instructions
  1. Mix these ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  2. When thick and clear, remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons of almond flavoring. Serve with ice cream or angel food cake or on crepes.
