| Cherry Pudding Cake |
Ingredients
- 2 T shortening
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C milk
- 2 C flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 C hot water
- 1 C sugar
- 2 C pitted tart cherries
Instructions
- Mix shortening and 1 cup of sugar.
- Add milk, flour, salt and baking powder. Pour into deep dish.
- Mix cherries, 1 cup sugar and hot water. Pour over cake batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
