| Cherry Pie |
Ingredients
- top & bottom pie crust
- 4 cups fresh tart cherries (with liquid)
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Drain fresh tart cherries, reserving the liquid
- Toss sugar with the cherries. Add flour and stir.
- Place cherry mixture in the pie crust, then add 1/4 cup reserved juice to the pie.
- Place the top pie crust on the pie. Slit the top crust or use a lattice style and crimp the sides to seal.
- Cover edges of pie with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes with the foil.
- Continue baking 45 more minutes without the foil.
