Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime-flavored gelatin
- 1 c. heavy or whipping cream
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. thawed frozen red tart cherries in juice, drained
Instructions
- Prepare gelatin as label directs; refrigerate until set.
- In small mixer bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat cream, sugar and almond extract until soft peaks form; set aside.
- Reserve 6 cherries for garnish.
- To serve, into each of six 8 oz. parfait glasses, alternate layers of gelatin, cherries and cream mixture, ending with cream.
- Garnish with reserved cherries. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
